Biography

Zhang Yingfan, Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, MD, is an Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital. He is Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Association of Plastic Surgeons. He has been engaged in clinical plastic surgery for nearly 20 years, has a deep understanding of the essence of human aesthetics, pays attention to details, and pursues the harmonious beauty of overall facial features. With exquisite surgical skills, he has created countless refined and natural beautiful appearances, earning extensive praise and recognition. To date, he has published more than 50 medical papers, including more than 10 English articles indexed by SCI. He is the first person in China's plastic surgery field to have an academic paper published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the world's most influential medical academic journal. He has undertaken one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one by the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation.
